Page 1 of 2 From Stuttgart Ange and I flew to Rome, which was equally over-touristed (this was just before Easter and John Paul II’s death) and also charming. We ’did’ many of the usual touristy things like the Vatican, Colosseum, and other top attractions. By the time we came to see the Vatican we had seen over a year of Catholic art in Latin America, and while beautiful it felt like more of the same. We had been spoilt! On the plus side, the food was fantastic!
